Installation

  SouthDowns Elevators’ offer lifts installation that are tailored to suit your specific requirements and site conditions and still at a very competitive price. Both traction and hydraulic lift projects can range from small disabled platform lifts to large vehicle or passenger lifts.
  We specialize in Total MRL traction and Hydraulic passenger lifts, and we can still offer standard machine room lifts with a vast range of finishes and fixtures to choose from, suitable for any environments such as: Nursing homes, Medical Centres, Hotels, Residential buildings, Offices, Retail units, Leisure facilities etc.
Another area where we offer very competitive prices is for timber framed buildings where we can provide self-supported structures built by our own engineers on site complete with a lifting beam at the top of the shaft.
  Every lift that we install is compliant to EN81-1, EN81-2 and the lift directive EC 95/16, tested and CE marked.
Our new lifts come with 12 months parts warranty and a 12 month basic maintenance service included in the contract price.

The time we spent on site it is not only for servicing your lift but to fix any possible fault preventing unnecessary breakdown of your lift.

  We provide 24 hour emergency call out service all year round, with rapid response times.

  Repair

Our aim in the area of repairs is to save our clients’ money by extending the life of their existing equipment with repairing it. We make sure that your lift will go on as much as possible without risking the safety use of it.
We undertake projects from minor repairs such as push buttons and safety edge replacement to motor rewinding and door operator or rope replacement regardless of the type and manufacturer of the lift.
We provide risk assessments and method statements for all tasks that we undertake. 

Modernisation & Refurbishment

  SouthDowns Elevators Ltd can offer you modernisation and refurbishment services including small, electrical, and full refurbishment packages from health and safety upgrades such as car top control replacement, full modernisation packages including controller and machine replacements and extensive modernisation including doors, car and sling replacement as well as upgrading your equipment to comply with the DDA regulations.

  Our equipment is suitable for all makes of lifts UK or foreign manufacture and can be supplied and installed at the highest standard in very reasonable time schedule which prevents your lift being out of service for lengthy periods.

  Our engineers have experience with various lift equipment, UK and foreign, manufactured to suite every need of our clients.

  All our products are compliant to the latest regulations. We welcome visits on our previous projects.
